Assignment Won’t Load Even After Installing the Required Plug-ins

Pearson Technical Support offers steps to assist with this issue at Chrome, Safari, Edge: Assignment Won't Load after Installing Plug-Ins. It is recommended to follow the steps in that article when having issue with Pearson not opening or loading pages. 

Pearson MyLab Assignment Tab Not Opening

If the pop-up for the assignment is being blocked by the browser, allow pop-ups for the Pearson website in your browser's settings menu.

Chrome
  • Click the three dots menu icon at the top right and select Settings.
  • Select Privacy and security and the left menu, then Site settings.
  • Scroll down and click Pop-ups and redirects.
  • Next to Allowed to send pop-ups and redirects, click Add and enter:  [*.]pearson.com
  • Refresh your Pearson assignment page and then retry opening an assignment.
Edge
  • Click the three dots menu icon at the top right and select Settings.
  • Select Privacy, search, and services on the left menu, then select Site permissions.
  • Click All permissions and then Pop-ups and redirects.
  • Next to Allowed to send pop-ups and redirects, click Add site and enter:  mylab.pearson.com
  • Refresh your Pearson assignment page and then retry opening an assignment.
Firefox
  • Click the three lines menu icon at the top right and select Settings.
  • Select Permissions and data on the left menu.
  • Under Block pop-ups and third-party redirects, click Manage exceptions.
  • In the Address of website field, enter:  mylab.pearson.com
  • Click the Allow button and then click Save changes.
  • Refresh your Pearson assignment page and then retry opening an assignment.
Safari
  • Open the Safari menu and select Settings....
  • Click on the Websites tab at the top.
  • Select Pop-up Windows on the left menu.
  • Select any Pearson websites and change their drop-down setting to Allow.
  • Refresh your Pearson assignment page and then retry opening an assignment.
