How to Access Email
Overview
This article provides instructions on how to log into your Microsoft Office 365 email for both McLennan Community College employees and students. Steps are included for accessing email via the website, Outlook desktop, and the Outlook mobile app.
ISS Tech Support will never send you a random (unsolicited) text or email saying your school email will be shut down unless you verify your account, fill out a form, or confirm that you asked to delete (terminate) your email. If you get a message like this, it is not from ISS Tech Support or the college. For more information about the official email termination procedure, see Termination of Office 365 Account Access (Students).
What is my email address?
Your email address is not your username. If asked for your username for any application, please use your initials and ID number if you are a student and your first initial and last name if you are an employee.
- Students: Your student email will be the first initial of your first and last name + 7-digit MCC ID number + @students.mclennan.edu (e.g. jd0123456@students.mclennan.edu).
- Employees: For most employees, your email address will be the first initial of your first name followed by your last name + @mclennan.edu email address (e.g. jdoe@mclennan.edu).
