Email has Moved

Overview

This article shows you how to remove your old Google (Gmail) email and add your new Office 365 email.

Gmail is no longer used to send or receive email, but you can still use other Google services.

Getting Started

Step 1: Check that you can access your new email.

  • Go to www.mclennan.edu.
  • Click I Am A > Current Student > Student Email.
  • Enter your @students.mclennan.edu email address (e.g. ab0123456@students.mclennan.edu) and current MCC password to log in.

Step 2: Remove the old email account from your personal device(s).

  1. Open the email app on your phone or computer.
  2. Click the profile picture or email icon in the top left corner.
  3. Click the gear icon to open Settings.
  4. Click Accounts.
  5. Click your MCC email account.
  6. Click Remove Account.

These steps may change slightly based on the app you’re using. For example, on an iPhone, you might need to remove the account through the Settings app under Mail.

Step 3. Add email to your personal device.
