Available Hours in Microsoft Teams
Overview
Your availability hours in Microsoft Teams show others when you are typically working. These hours are based on your Outlook work week settings. If your schedule changes, you can update Outlook to make sure Teams shows the right times.
Getting Started
To update your availability hours in Teams, you need to adjust your work week settings in Outlook. These updates will sync across both platforms.

- Open the Outlook desktop app or sign in to Outlook on the web.
- Go to the Calendar view.
- Click on "File" > "Options" > "Calendar" (desktop) or click the gear icon and choose "View all Outlook settings" > "Calendar" > "View" (web).
Update Work Week and Hours
Change your scheduled work days and hours to match your current availability.
- Select the days you work under the "Work week" section.
- Set your start time and end time for each workday.
