MCC is moving student accounts starting Thursday 6/19 through 6/22. If you’ve lost access during this time to student email or Brightspace, you will need to change your password to log in again! You can use your mobile device or this computer to change your password.

Sign in using the tablet to the right of the Tech Support door or select the "Sign-In for Tech Support" web browser tab on the Self-Service Station, submit the completed form, and then have a seat by the door.

They may be assisting a caller right now, but rest assured — they have received a notification that you have signed in and will be with you shortly!

I am having issues with my password or need to create a new one.
I need to reset my password

Sure, let’s get that updated!

Select the "MCC Self-Service Password Reset" web browser tab or go to Forgot Password and follow the instructions.

You can also follow the steps on the Password Reset poster to your right on a personal device.

I need to setup a password for the first time

You can use the Forgot Password instructions to create a new password.

Select the "MCC Self-Service Password Reset" web browser tab or go to Forgot Password and follow the instructions.

You can also check out the Password Reset Poster to your right — just use your phone!

I need to update my outside email address for password resets

We will be happy to assist you with that!

If you are able to sign in to MyMCC, please visit Personal Information Update for steps on how to update your personal email address.

If you are unable to sign in to MyMCC, please sign in to see a Help Desk representative so that we may assist you with updating it!

Student email says to contact System Admin to reset password

If you are unable to sign in to your student email, reset your MCC password by selecting the "MCC Self-Service Password Reset" web browser tab or go to Forgot Password and follow the instructions.

You can also follow the steps on the Password Reset poster to your right on a personal device.

Once your MCC password has been reset, retry signing in to your student email.

I am unable to sign in to my student email account.

Student email uses your MCC username (e.g. jd1234567) and current MCC password to sign in. This will be the same password used to sign in to MyMCC or Brightspace. If your device automatically fills in your passwords for these services, you may be able to view your current password through its password manager.

If you are unable to sign in to your student email, reset your MCC password by selecting the "MCC Self-Service Password Reset" web browser tab or go to Forgot Password. and follow the instructions.

Once your MCC password has been reset, retry signing in to your student email.

My Account is locked

You can unlock your account at Unlock Account. If you want more information, just go to our Account Locked article.

What is my username or ID?

Let's get that figured out!

Your ID is the 7-digit number you were given when you applied to MCC! If you don't know it, visit Forgot User Name.

Most services use your initials + ID (e.g., jd1234567) as your username. Some services use your student email or just your ID number. Unsure what format to use? Check What username do I use?.

Why can I log into everything but Brightspace?
My class has not started yet.

You will only be able to log into Brightspace 3 days before the official course start date. You’ll receive a username or password error until then.

My class has already started.
