Deliver Email from Barracuda Message Log
Overview
Sometimes, emails get blocked by our spam filter even if they are safe. You can check for these in the Barracuda Message Log and deliver them to your inbox if needed. This guide shows you how.
Getting Started
Follow the steps below to locate and deliver a blocked email from your Barracuda Message Log.
Log into Barracuda
Access your personal Barracuda spam filter account.
- Go to the Barracuda Email Security Gateway.
- Enter your MCC email address and complete the login process using your MCC credentials.
- Click on "Message Log" to see recent filtered emails.
Deliver a Quarantined Email
Find and release the email so it goes to your inbox.
- Look for the email you want to deliver. Use the filters to show messages quarantined for up to 30 days. For example:
- Set the "Date Presets" drop-down to the desired time frame
- Set the "Action Taken" drop-down to Quarantined
- Set the "Delivery Status" drop-down to Any
- Click on the email subject if you would like to view a preview of the message.
- Click the "Deliver" button to deliver the email to your Inbox.
Additional Details
- If an email looks suspicious, do not click 'Show Images' or deliver it. It is not necessary to report it to the Help Desk if it was quarantined or blocked by Barracuda.
- You can also whitelist senders to prevent them from being quarantined in the future or block specific senders or domains if you are receiving spam from them. Your personal allow/block list may be accessed under the Settings menu and then select "Sender Policy".
