Overview

Some MCC services like MyMCC require a VPN with a U.S IP Address when you access the website outside of the U.S. MCC does not currently offer a college-provided VPN for student use. Please use the following tips to choose a VPN that will work for you.

Additional Details

  • VPN use is not required for regular MCC services, such as Brightspace, student email, or library access.
  • If you are accessing sensitive personal information or using public networks, using a VPN can add a layer of protection.
